Russian stocks rise at open on Mon; MICEX index up 1.4% in first minute

MOSCOW. Nov 30 (Interfax) - Russian stocks rose at the open of trading on Monday, following Asian markets and U.S. futures higher as UAE officials eased concerns over the debt situation at Dubai World.

The MICEX index rose 1.41% to 1,304.22 points and the RTS index was up 0.65% to 1,378.47 points.

Advancers included Gazprom - up 1.7% on MICEX, VTB - up 1.4%, Lukoil - up 0.9%, MMC Norilsk Nickel - up 1.6%, Rostelecom - up 0.1%, Rosneft - up 1.4%, Gazprom Neft - up 2%, Surgutneftegas - up 1.4%, Tatneft - up 2.2%, Sberbank Russia - up 1.2% and Polyus Gold - up 2.2%.
