Alfa Group parent co pays $110 mln in 2009 dividends
MOSCOW. 2 Dec (Interfax) - CTF Holdings Ltd., the parent company of Alfa Group, paid out $110 million in interim dividends during 2009, an Alfa Group report to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) says.
Alfa paid no dividends for 2008, but paid out $19 million for 2007, $137 million for 2006, and $150 million for 2005.
CTF is registered in Gibraltar and wholly owned by Mikhail Fridman, German Khan, and Alexei Kuzmichev, who collectively also hold 77.86% of the Alfa Group holding company ABH Holdings.
Alfa Group turned $2.19 billion in profits last year, $1.67 billion in 2007.
The group's main investors are retailer X5 Retail Group, Alfa Bank , AlfaStrakhovanie, Alfa Capital Partners, communications outfits Turkcell, Vimpelcom , Megafon , Kyivstar GSM, and CTC Media, oil company TNK-BP , and Rosvodokanal.
