IEA forecasts Russia

MOSCOW. Dec 7 (Interfax) - The International Energy (IEA) forecasts that Russian oil production will reach 10 million barrels a day by 2030, the agency's chief economist, Fatih Birol, said at a roundtable meeting on Monday in Moscow.

In these conditions, Russia will nonetheless remain a leader on the oil market, he said.

Birol added that if demand for oil remains unchanged over 20 years current world output would not be sufficient.
