VEB to raise $100 mln loan from India
MOSCOW. Dec 7 (Interfax) - Russia's Vnesheconombank (VEB) will raise a $100 million loan from Export Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) for financing the supply and service of equipment of Indian companies in the framework of investment projects being implemented throughout Russia, VEB said in a statement.
The necessary loan agreement was signed during a visit by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Russia.
During Singh's visit several partnership agreements were signed for various spheres. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Singh also signed a join declaration.
