CB's net dollar purchases drop by half to $7.3 bln in Nov

MOSCOW. Dec 7 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia's net dollar purchases in November totaled $7.317, a 52% drop from October ($15.200 billion), the CB said on its website.

Planned dollar purchases were $2.898 billion.

Net euro purchases in November increased 50% to EUR 0.745 billion from EUR 0.485 billion in October.

Planned euro purchases were EUR 0.641 billion in November.

The CB conducts scheduled currency purchases as part of its bid to move towards inflation targeting, and only if currency supply exceeds demand.
