Ukraine reduces oil output 6.3% in 11 months
KYIV. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Ukraine reduced oil production 6.3% to 2.681 million tonnes in January-November 2009 compared to the same period of 2008, the Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax.
Gas condensate production fell 6% to 964,100 tonnes in the 11 months.
Naftogaz Ukrainy enterprises reduced oil production 5.5% to 2.487 million tonnes in the period and gas condensate output 6.6% to 874,600 tonnes.
Oil production fell 7.1% at Ukraine's biggest producer, Ukrnafta, to 2.336 million tonnes, and condensate production fell 3.9% to 276,700 tonnes.
UkrGasProduction boosted oil production 31.8% to 143,900 tonnes, but reduced gas condensate output 8.7% to 536,200 tonnes.
Chornomornaftogaz decreased oil output 9.6% to 7,500 tonnes, but edged condensate up 0.7% to 61,700 tonnes.
Other Ukrainian oil and gas producers reduced oil production 14.7% to 193,700 tonnes but raised gas condensate output 0.6% to 89,480 tonnes in the 11 months.
Ukrnafta produced 3.057 million tonnes of oil and condensate in 2008, 3.29% less than in 2007.
Total oil production in Ukraine fell 5.6% to 3.127 million tonnes in 2008 and gas condensate output dropped 2.3% to 1.118 million tonnes.
