Grid operators from seven regions cleared to switch to RAB tariffs from Jan 1

MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Tariffs Service (FTS) Board Friday cleared the branches of inter-district power grid companies (IDGCs) from seven Russian regions to switch to Regulated Asset Base (RAB) tariffs from January 1, 2010.

The FTS told Interfax that IDGCs from the Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Yaroslavl, Novgorod and Omsk regions and the Udmurt Republic would make the switch.
