Russia smelts 8.7% les aluminum in Nov
MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - Russia reduced primary aluminum output 8.7% year-on-year in November, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.
Aluminum production grew 2.4% in November 2009 compared with October 2009, the service said, without saying how much of the metal was produced.
It fell 8.8% year-on-year in January-November.
Aluminum roll production soared 11.1% in November compared with October but fell 4.5% year-on-year.
Roll production plummeted 34.2% year-on-year in the 11 months.
