Russia to have 6.3%-6.4% budget deficit in 2009
MOSCOW. Dec 29 (Interfax) - Russia will have a budget deficit of 6.3%-6.4% in 2009, Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Kudrin, who is also the country's finance minister, said at a meeting with President Dmitry Medvedev.
"We're approaching the adjusted deficit of 6.3%-6.4%, which is lower than planned," Kudrin said.
"This is a completely acceptable deficit for this year," Kudrin said.
