With 60.14% of ballots counted, Yanukovych gets 36.38%, Tymoshenko

KYIV. Jan 18 (Interfax) - With 60.14% of ballots counted, Viktor Yanukovych leads in the first round of the Ukrainian presidential election with 36.38% of ballots, the press center of the Ukrainian Central Election Commission (CEC) reported.

Yulia Tymoshenko comes second with 24.41% of votes. Next comes Serhiy Tigipko with 13.22%, Arseniy Yatsenyuk is the fourth with 6.84%. Incumbent Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko is the fifth with 4.97% of ballots.

A total of 2.23% voted against all candidates.
