Gap between Yanukovych and Tymoshenko stands at 10.3% of votes
KYIV. Jan 19 (Interfax) - A preliminary tally of 99.9% of votes confirms that Party of Regions leader Viktor Yanukovych has won 35.34% of votes in the first round of Ukraine's presidential elections held on January 17, with Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko gaining 25.04%, the Central Election Commission's press center said on Tuesday.
Serhiy Tyhypko was supported by 13.05% of voters, Arseniy Yatsenyuk by 6.96%, Incumbent President Viktor Yushchenko by 5.45%, Petro Symonenko by 3.54%, Volodymyr Lytvyn by 2.35%, Oleh, Tyahnybok by 1.43%, and Anatoliy Hrytsenko by 1.2%.
