Beltransgaz offers Gazprom to increase Yamal-Europe gas throughput to 38 Bln cubic meters per year

MINSK. Jan 20 (Interfax) - Beltransgaz is offering to Gazprom to increase the daily quantities of gas pumped through the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline to 105 million cubic meters from the current 91 million, Beltransgaz' General Director Vladimir Maiorov told journalists on Wednesday.

In this case, the Yamal-Europe pipeline's annual gas throughput will increase by 5 billion cubic meters from the projected 33 billion cubic meters to 38 billion cubic meters, he said. "We want to fix the supracontractual transit on the permanent basis. The current talks depend on the European consumer needs and Gazprom requests," Maiorov said.
