China's steel product exports slide to 2.89 mln tons in January

Shanghai. February 10. INTERFAX-CHINA - The total volume of China's steel product exports fell to 2.89 million tons in January 2010, down 13.47 percent month-on-month, according to preliminary statistics released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC) on Feb. 10.

Meanwhile, in January, the country's iron ore imports decreased by 25 percent month-on-month to 46.62 million tons.

The tables below show China's trade of steel products, slab, coke and iron ore in January 2010.
