Russia-Norway economic commission to meet on April 9

HELSINKI. Feb 10 (Interfax) - The Russian-Norwegian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation will have its next meeting on April 9, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said.

"We cooperate under large-scale energy projects, and there is the Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation. It is scheduled to hold its next regular meeting in Moscow on April 9," Putin said at a meeting with Norwegian Premier Jens Stoltenberg.

Putin credited Norway with being a reliable and stable partner. "We are boosting our relations in all fields, and negotiations are continuing on the most complex issues of division of our economic interests in the north," he said.

Stoltenberg said at the meeting that Norwegian-Russian economic relations are showing sustained development.
