Russia, Greece set to increase trade to pre-crisis level - Putin
MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - The Russian-Greek commission for the economic, industrial, scientific and technological cooperation will meet over the next few months to discuss ways of bringing the bilateral trade back to the pre-crisis level , Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said.
"Unfortunately, our trade fell by more than 40% due to the global financial and economic crisis, which is why today we discussed how to come out of this situation and what to do to overcome the situation," Putin said after talks with his Greek counterpart George Papandreou.
It is this task that has been set for the Russian-Greek intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation due to meet in Moscow in the next few months, Putin said.
