Russian stock market opens Friday with quotation gains, MICEX Stock Exchange goes up 0.6% in first minute
MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax) - The Russian stock market on Friday opened with quotation gains following an upswing in the U.S. market on Thursday. The MICEX Stock Exchange went up in the first minute of trading by 0.6% to over 1,400 points.
By 10:31 pm Moscow time, the MICEX Stock Exchange had increased by 0.59% to 1,404.2 points while the RTS had gone up by 0.82% to 1,516.35 points.
Futures on the RTS Index dropped against the base asset at minus 3.6 points, indicating a neutral mood among investors.
