Capital inflow into funds investing in Russia reach $411 mln for March 4-10 - EPFR

MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax) - Inflow of capital in funds investing in Russian and CIS shares for the period of March 4-10 reached $411 million, up from $70 million in capital inflow, according to Emerging Portfolio Fund Research (EPFR).

From January 1 to March 10, 2010, capital inflow into funds investing in Russian and CIS funds reached $927 million.

UniCredit Securities investment company said in a note that funds investing in Global Emerging Markets (GEM) also had a net inflow of funds, reaching $532.05 million for the period.

"Total net inflow into funds investing in Russian and CIS shares came to $411 million, which is the second highest result for 2009 and since the start of 2010," the company said in the note.
