Sky Express to stat charter flights from Russia

MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax) - Sky Express Aviation Company plans to start a charter program from Russia's regions, the chairman of the company, Vitaly Korenyugin, said at a conference on Monday.

He said that the company would implement a charter program from Kazan, Rostov on the Don and Krasnodar. He added that charter flights would account for 25% of operations in 2010, up from its current 20%.

Commenting on the company's plans for passenger transport, he added that Sky Express plans to fly 1.4 million people in 2010, up 7% from 2009. In addition, the company predicts that its air fleet will increase from nine to 11 aircraft. "One Boeing-737 will be received in May, a second one will come in June or July," Korenyugin said.
