Russia, India planning uranium, discussing nuclear fuel JV
MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax) - Russia and India plan to form a joint venture to explore and mine uranium in their own and in third countries, Sergei Kiriyenko, chief of the state nuclear corporation Rosatom, told reporters, commenting on last week's meetings in New Delhi.
Kiriyenko said a possible nuclear fuel manufacturing joint venture was also being discussed and that all this would be set down on the road map for nuclear power cooperation between the countries.
