Putin: investors could get 49% in Baltic NPP

VOLGODONSK. March 18 (Interfax) - Private investors, including foreigners, could fund up to half of the project to build the Baltic nuclear power plant, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has said.

"We ourselves are inviting investors. The precedent was set by the Baltic nuclear power plant project, where private, including foreign, investors will be able to finance up to half of the project, and, accordingly, get a 49% stake," Putin said at a meeting on the development of the Russian nuclear energy sector.
