37 killed, 65 injured in Moscow metro explosions
MOSCOW. March 29 (Interfax) - According to the latest reports, 102 people have been injured, including 37 killed, as a result of the explosions in Moscow metro, Russian Emergency Situations Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"By this hour, 102 have been injured, 37 of them were killed, as a result of the two explosions," Shoigu said at an emergency ministerial meeting on Monday.
The death toll continues rising because of those hospitalized with fatal injuries, he said.
The Emergency Situations Ministry sent 100 pieces of equipment for clean-up operations and two helicopters to deliver injured people to hospitals, the minister said.
