Naftogaz Ukrainy will fully pay for March gas supplies
KYIV. March 31 (Interfax) - National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy will fully pay for the Russian natural gas supplied in March, said Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Tihipko, in charge of economic affairs in the government.
"Naftogaz will pay for the gas in full, 100%, possibly, with its own funds," he told journalists before a Cabinet session in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Under the Russian-Ukrainian gas agreements, payment for the natural gas supplied each month is due before the seventh day of the following month, which means that the March supplies must be paid for before April 7.
