Russia will consider crediting construction of power units at Ukrainian NPP

MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - Russia will consider the possibility of financing the construction of the third and fourth power units of Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant in the amount of up to $6 billion, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said after his meeting with Ukrainian Premier Mykola Azarov.

"We discussed several issues, including cooperation in nuclear power engineering. We will consider the possibility of crediting the third and fourth units of Khmelnitsky NPP in the amount of $5 billion to $6 billion," he said.
