China's crude oil imports grow 39 pct year-on-year in March

Shanghai. April 12. INTERFAX-CHINA - China's crude oil imports in March 2010 grew by 39 percent year-on-year to 21.06 million tons, according to statistics released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC) on April. 10.

Meanwhile, the country's fuel imports reached 3.22 million tons in March 2010. In the first three months of 2010, China exported 6.94 million tons of fuel, up by 66.4 percent year-on-year, while the country's fuel imports amounted to for 8.65 million tons over the same period, down by 3.5 percent year-on-year.

In March, the country's coal exports reached 2.26 million tons, down slightly by 0.44 percent year-on-year, according to the GAC.
