48 victims of Smolensk air crash identified

MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - Forty-eight people killed in the Polish presidential airplane crash near Smolensk have been identified as of now, Russian Health Care and Social Development Minister Tatyana Golikova said.

"By now 48 victims have been identified," Golikova said at a session of the governmental commission which is looking into the crash.

Death certificates are being issued, she said.

DNA tests for the crash victims could continue until Wednesday next week, she added.
