OGK-6 to hold shareholder meeting, no dividends planned for 2009

MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - OJSC OGK-6 will hold an annual shareholders meeting on June 10, the genco said in a statement.

The genco's board of directors decided to call the meeting on April 16. The board also has made a recommendation that shareholders vote against paying dividends for 2009.

The shareholders registrar will close on April 21.

The genco's net profit for 2009 came to 2.8 billion rubles. The company did not pay dividends for 2008.

OGK-6 includes the Kirishi State District Power Plant (GRES), Novocherkassk GRES, Ryazan GRES, Cherepovets GRES, and the Krasnoyarsk-2 and Krasnoyarsk-24 GRES, with installed capacity of 9,000 megawatts.

Gazprom owns 50.3% in the genco.
