Russia gives Ukraine 30% discount on gas - Medvedev

KHARKIV. April 21 (Interfax) - Russia has provided a discount for gas to Ukraine amounting to $100 with the current price of $330 per 1,000 cubic meters, President Dmitry Medvedev said on Wednesday after talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovych.

"If the price is below $330, the discount will stand at 30% of the contract price," Medvedev said.
