Those guilty of Naftogaz Ukrainy bankruptcy must answer - Yanukovych

KYIV. April 22 (Interfax) - Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych has demanded that Prosecutor General Oleksandr Medvedko bring to account those guilty of the Naftogaz Ukrainy national oil and gas company's bankruptcy.

"It's an open secret today that Naftogaz Ukrainy bankruptcy is something absolutely unnatural. It is a profitable organization. Where do losses come from? I am expecting the prosecutor general and law enforcement organizations to provide an answer. And I demand an immediate prosecution of those guilty of this with the full rigor of the law," Yanukovych told the National Anti-Corruption Committee in Kyiv on Thursday.
