Lack of bids prevents MinFin from place funds in bank deposits Tuesday

MOSCOW. April 27 (Interfax) - The Russian Finance Ministry was unable on Tuesday to place temporarily free federal budget funds in bank deposits due to a lack of bids, the ministry said on its website.

Banks were offer up to 50 billion rubles for seven months. The minimum placement rate was 6.5% pa and the minimum per-bid amount - 1 billion rubles.
