ALMATY. May 14 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's total GDP in January-March 2010 came to 3.882 trillion tenge (146.6 tenge/$1 on May 14, 2010), which is a year-on-year boost of 7.1%, the State Statistics Agency said in a statement.

Production of goods accounted for 41.1% of GDP while services claimed 55.8%.

According to the Kazakh government's forecast, GDP growth for 2010 will come to 2%. However, the country's Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Zhanar Aitzhanova, said that this forecast could be revised with an increase.

Kazakhstan's GDP increased by 1.2% in 2009.
