MOSCOW. May 17 (Interfax) - Transneft's sales revenue according to Russian accounting standards (RAS) increased by 22.5% year-on-year to 92.355 billion rubles in the first quarter of 2010, the company said in a statement.

The company's production costs went up 23.3% to 87.955 billion rubles while pretax profit increased by 13.1% to 774.722 million rubles.

The company's net profit increased by 3.3% to 574.847 million rubles.

Transneft's RAS sales revenue increased by 30% to 318.5 billion rubles in 2009. Transneft's production costs went up by 30% to 307.348 billion rubles. The company's pretax profit decreased by 10% to 5 billion rubles.

It was earlier reported that the company's net profit increased by 5.7% to 3.893 billion rubles.
