Russian economy grows 0.7%, output up 1.8% in April

MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Russian GDP grew 0.7% on a seasonally adjusted basis in April, Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina told reporters.

Industrial output rose 1.8% on the same basis, Nabiullina said.

Fixed capital investment grew 2.5% in annual terms.

Nabiullina also said the Econ Ministry forecasts inflation of 0.3%-0.4% in May.
