Russia has 0.1% inflation in week, 3.8% so far this year
MOSCOW. May 26 (Interfax) - Russia had 0.1% inflation for the week May 18-24, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.
Russia had zero inflation the week before last, and 0.1% inflation for the eight weeks preceding that. Consumer prices have risen 3.8% so far this year and 0.3% so far in May.
They rose 0.6% in May 1-24, 2009, 6.8% since the start of last year and 0.6% in May 2009 as a whole.
Inflation in annual terms slowed to 5.7%-5.8% as of May 24 this year, from 9.8% at the end of December, 6.5% at the end of March and 6.0% at the end of April.
