China's steel product exports rise to 4.94 mln tons in May
Shanghai. June 10. INTERFAX-CHINA - China's steel product exports increased to 4.94 million tons in May, up 14.62 percent month-on-month, according to preliminary statistics released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC) on June 10.
In the first five months of 2010, China's steel product exports increased by 127.3 percent year-on-year to 17.96 million tons.
In May, the country's iron ore imports decreased by 6.2 percent month-on-month to 51.9 million tons.
The tables below show China's trade of steel products, slab, coke and iron ore in May and the first five months of 2010.
