Rosneftegaz not planning to buy RUSIA Petroleum

PARIS. June 11 (Interfax) - Rosneftegaz is not planning to buy RUSIA Petroleum , the company that holds the license to the giant Kovykta gas condensate field but which recently filed for bankruptcy, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin told reporters in Paris.

"Nothing is being planned with Rosneftegaaz," Sechin said. "They won't be able to sort each other out. Why buy something that is in need of bankruptcy?" he said.
