Total unemployed in Russia goes below 2 mln persons - Golikova
MOSCOW. June 15 (Interfax) - Total unemployed in Russia went below 2 million people for the first time since the onset of the economic crisis, Health and Social Development Minister Tatyana Golikova told Interfax.
"For the first time during the crisis period, registered unemployed went below 2 million and reached 1,977,077 people," she said.
She said that total officially registered unemployed came to 2,010,814 persons on June 2.
Golikova added that between June 2 and 9, the number of unemployed registered at employment services decreased by 1.68%, or by 33,737 persons.
