Rosneft not planning share issue in near future

ST. PETERSBURG. June 18 (Interfax) - Rosneft is not planning a supplementary share issue in the near future, the oil producer's chief, Sergei Bogdanchikov, said at the company's AGM.

"A share issue is not currently being planned as our equity and borrowed capital structure is close to optimal," he said, answering a question out by shareholders.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin has said he thought Rosneft's further privatization was feasible. "The initial offering was positive. We can wait and make it better still, sell for more still," he has said.
