Gazprom Neft, TNK-BP could speed up Slavneft divorce - Miller

ST. PETERSBURG. June 18 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft could speed up its divorce with TNK-BP regarding oil producer Slavneft's assets, Gazprom chief Alexei Miller told Interfax at the economic forum in St Petersburg.

Gazprom managers have had meetings with representatives of leading international financial institutions during forum.

Asked by Interfax what news could be expected regarding mergers and acquisitions involving Gazprom in light of the meetings with bankers, Miller said "a possible quicker divorce between Gazprom Neft and TNK-BP concerning the Slavneft assets is unlikely to come as any great news as the market has been expecting this for a long time."
