Norilsk Nickel expecting $11 bln revenue in 2010 if metal prices hold

MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - MMC Norilsk Nickel expects sales revenue of $11 billion in 2010 if world prices for nickel and copper hold at the levels seen in Q1-Q2 2010.

"Revenue will be about $11 billion if nickel and copper stay at their Q1-Q2 levels," Dmitry Kostoyev, the Arctic mining and smelting giant's chief economics and financial officer, told reporters.

"The company's financial state is robust, it can allow itself to fund investment programs, pay its debt, and pay the dividends that the board has recommended," he said.
