Center-Volga Grid Co plans 33.3 bln rubles capex by 2012
NIZHNY NOVGOROD. June 22 (Interfax) - Inter-District Grid Company Center and Volga is budgeting 33.3 billion capex in 2010-2012, including 6.97 billion rubles in 2010, 13.8 billion rubles in 2011 and 12.5 billion rubles in 2012, the grid company says in its annual report.
Capex totaled 6.65 billion rubles in 2009, including 4.5 billion rubles in upgrades and 2.15 billion rubles in new construction.
However capex fell last year from 8.14 billion rubles in 2008 because the company supplied less electricity - 50.899 billion kWh compared with 55.431 billion kWh.
Inter-District Grid Company Center and Volga supplies electricity to consumers in the Vladimir, Kaluga, Ivanovo, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan and Tula regions, and republics of Marii-el and Udmurtia.
The Inter-District Grid Company Holding (IDGC Holding) owns 50.4%c of issued shares.
