OGK-2 decides against paying 2009 dividends and compensation for board
MOSCOW. June 24 (Interfax) - OJSC OGK-2 , which is controlled by Gazprom, will not pay dividends for 2009's results. This decision was made by the genco's shareholders at a meeting on Thursday, OGK-2 said.
The genco's reserve fund will receive 85.4 million rubles of the company's net profit for 2009 (1.708 billion rubles) while around 1.623 billion rubles will go to investment.
In addition, the company's shareholders decided not pay compensation to the board of directors for 2009.
The genco's auditor for 2010 is CJSC KPMG.
OGK-2 includes the Serov, Troitsk, Stavropol, and Pskov State District Power Plants (or GRES), combined generating capacity of which is 8,700 mWt. Gazprom controls the genco.
The genco's charter capital comes to 11.872 billion rubles divided into 32.734 billion shares at a face value of 0.3627 rubles each. OJSC Gazprom owns 50.3% in OGK-2.
