Court drops criminal case against Alexanyan
MOSCOW. June 24 (Interfax) - Moscow's Simonovsky Court has dropped a criminal case against ailing former Yukos vice president Vasily Alexanyan.
The court accepted a petition from the defendant's lawyer, an Interfax correspondent said. Alexanyan's lawyer asked to drop charges because the statute of limitation on his client's charges has expired.
The defendant made a personal court appearance on Thursday morning against advice from his doctors.
