Gazprom Neft to wrap talks on Iranian project up by end summer

MOSCOW. June 29 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft plans to wrap up talks on joining the Anaran project in Iran by the end of summer, the oil company's chief, Alexander Dyukov, told reporters.

Russia's Lukoil and Norway's Statoil have already explored the site, but Dyukov said Gazprom Neft was talking to Iran's national petroleum company and authorities about involvement in the project.

"We're talking to the national state company and Iranian Oil Ministry. It is expected the talks will be completed by the end of July, or at any rate the end of summer. It will all depend on the situation in Iran," he said.
