Intertek medical testing center opens in Shanghai
Shanghai. July 6. INTERFAX-CHINA - Intertek Medical Diagnostic Testing Center went into operation in Shanghai at the end of last month, Intertek Testing Services Ltd. Shanghai announced on July 5.
According to the announcement, the center will provide diagnostic testing outsourcing services, data processing, and advice on medical lab management and applications for research and development (R D) projects. It will also provide training in clinical testing and help improve grassroots medical services.
"The center was set up by Intertek Testing Services Ltd. Shanghai and Shanghai Technical Supervision Institute, and is the first Sino-foreign diagnostic testing center in China," an PR representative from Intertek Shanghai, Zhang Yuan, told Interfax on July 6.
At present, the center has over 40 staff and nearly 30 sets of equipment for testing, she said.
