MOSCOW. July 8 (Interfax) - OJSC Svyazinvest's technical board has held a meeting, the company said in a statement.

The board discussed the development of the holding's development, Rostelecom's provision of access of Internet traffic to interregional telecommunications companies, building a unified system of operation technical management and the technical launch of network communications.

"Representatives of Russian companies Mikran and Eltex were invited to the meeting, along with specialists of the foreign companies, Cisco, Juniper Networks and KeyMile, [the latter of] which currently is mulling the possibility of starting production in Russia," Svyazinvest said.

Cisco and Juniper Networks earlier announced the production plans for Russia. KeyMile is a new appearance on this list.

Austria's KeyMile is the producer of data transfer systems. The company has representative offices in 15 countries, including Russia where the company has operated since 1990. Svyazinvest's interregional telecommunications companies are KeyMile's clients.
