MICEX opens with share losses, down 0.5% in first minute
MOSCOW. July 13 (Interfax) - Trading of shares on the MICEX opened with losses on blue chips on Tuesday owing to the worsening situation on world exchange and commodities markets. The MICEX Stock Exchange went down by 0.5% in the first minute of trades.
By 10:31 pm Moscow time, benchmark stocks on the MICEX Stock Exchange had gone done by 0.52% to 1,337.54 points while the RTS Index had decreased by 0.71% to 1,376.63 points.
Futures on the RTS Index trading at the level of the base asset, indicating a neutral mood among investors.
Decliners on the MICEX were VTB , down 0.6%, Gazprom - 0.6%, Gazprom Neft - 0.4%, MMC Norilsk Nickel - 0.6%, Lukoil - 0.1%, Polyus Gold - 0.2%, Rosneft - 0.9%, Rostelecom - 0.4%, Sberbank - 0.8%, Surgutneftegas - 0.5% and Tatneft - 0.7%>
