Dollar and euro post slight gains on MICEX during first minutes of trading

MOSCOW. July 28 (Interfax) - The U.S. dollar and euro posted gains on the MICEX during the first minutes of trading on Wednesday as the euro stabilized on the world market. The ruble decreased slightly against the Central Bank's bi-currency basket.

Tomorrow trading on the MICEX opened at around 30.2-30.24 rubles/$1, which is around three kopecks above its close on Tuesday and not too far from its current official rate.

The euro came to 39.32 rubles/EUR1 at the start of trading, which is an increase of one to three kopecks above its closing on Tuesday and the official rate.

The Central Bank's bi-currency basket (set at $0.55 and 0.45 euro) came to 34.3-34.32 rubles in the first minutes of trading, which is an increase of one to three kopecks above its closing on Tuesday and the official rate.
