Econ Ministry, Finance Ministry agree list of 11 cos for privatization in 2011-2013
MOSCOW. July 28 (Interfax) - The Economic Development Ministry and the Finance Ministry have agreed the list of 11 major companies and banks that will be privatized in the 2011-2013 period, the head of the Economic Development Ministry's property relations department, Alexei Uvarov, told journalists.
RZD and the Agency for Home Mortgage Lending have been dropped from the list of 10 companies the Finance Ministry proposed for privatization earlier. Rosagroleasing, Rosspirtprom and United Grain Company have been added to the list.
The Economic Development Ministry has taken the stance that the state stake in Transneft and Federal Grid Company should not be reduced below 75%, compared to the 51% limit proposed by the Finance Ministry.
