MinFin responsive in allocating funds for fighting forest fires - Putin

MOSCOW. Aug 5 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has thanked the Finance Ministry for its quick decision-making in financing the fight against forest fires and providing assistance to citizens.

"I want to thank [the Finance Ministry] for its responsiveness in making decisions for combating the fires and assisting people," Putin told Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Shatalov at a Government Presidium meeting on Thursday.
