Russian monetary base up 63.3 bln rubles to 5165.1 bln rubles

MOSCOW. Aug 20 (Interfax) - The narrow monetary base in Russia stood at 5165.1 bln rubles on August 16 up from 5101.8 bln rubles on August 9, the Central Bank reported on Friday.

The narrow monetary base includes cash in circulation (including cash held at credit institutions), and balances on banks' mandatory local-currency-deposit reserve accounts with the Central Bank.
